"Hot take in under 60 seconds of what I think the real work is on getting out the vote for Kamala Harris. Talking to pasty community. You know what the work is not? The work is not having the last word or belittling someone online with your comment or shaming them or making them feel like an idiot. No the work, is umm talking to the people in your life. The people that are not sure who they are going to vote for or maybe not even registered to vote, talking to them. But you know what talking also entails? It also entails listening. You know what the most effective way it is to get out the vote? Is making people feel heard and seen and then presenting them with a compelling argument as to why you think a vote for Kamala Harris and Democrats is so important. You know what does not yield results? Leaving a smart ass comment that makes somebody feel belittled and judged online. Let's just not do that, maybe?" -Jessi
